Summer Worship Schedule
May 28 - September 3, 2017 
We will offer two worship services May 28 – September 3, 2016, at 9:00 and 10:30 am. Both services will take place in the Sanctuary. The praise band Compass will lead music at 9:00. Choirs, ensembles, and soloists will lead music at 10:30.

God’s Honest Truth

Have you heard of the Moth Radio Hour on National Public Radio? The Adult Education Committee has planned its own variation on this popular live storytelling medium. Now you can participate in two evenings of live storytelling at First Pres, featuring real stories shared, in person, by fellow church members. We’re calling these events God’s Honest Truth.

The first storytelling gathering will take place Wednesday, May 31, at 7:00 pm. 
Theme: “Barriers: Stories About Overcoming Life’s Challenges.”
Challenges faced can be large or small, and may include overcoming fears or loss.

The second storytelling gathering will be Wednesday, July 12, at 7:00 pm.
Theme: “Independence: Stories About People Claiming Their Independence.”

Contact Alex Lang, at alexlang@fpcah.org or 847-255-5900, to share your story. Stories must be 5-10 minutes in length and will be developed with guidance from Alex.
